Tampa insurance defense firm, is seeking an attorney with first/second chair CIVIL trial experience in insurance defense/casualty litigation. Ideal candidate can take a case from inception through conclusion in personal injury defense and general liability. Must have outstanding academic credentials, proficiency in research and writing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar. - Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses and representatives.
- Participate in the discovery phase of litigation including responding to discovery requests and reviewing records received during discovery.
- Draft legal documentation including motions and memoranda pertaining to all phases of litigation.
- Perform legal research on various topics with specific knowledge of the Westlaw Edge research platform.
- Communicate with clients via telephone or correspondence providing advisement and updates on the claims.
